How did Graceful Explorers start?
Graceful Explorers was born in 2024 from a serendipitous meeting between founders Robyn and Rhonda at an Outdoor First Aid course in Leysin, Switzerland. From the moment they started talking, it was clear they shared more than just a love of the mountains. Both were passionate about hiking, yoga, coaching, and exploring the hidden corners of Europe—and both had extensive experience not only in the outdoors but also in guiding individuals and teams through transformative journeys of personal and professional growth.
What began as a chance meeting quickly evolved into a deeper connection. After a few inspired conversations and a magical weekend paddleboarding on Lake Lucerne, Robyn and Rhonda realized they were onto something special. They envisioned a way to combine their shared passions, expertise, and belief in the power of nature to create something meaningful. And so, Graceful Explorers was born: a platform dedicated to helping women find confidence, resilience, and purpose through immersive outdoor adventures and mindful leadership retreats.
